Shoot a target
Help prove that GroupLab measures correctly.
It needs real targets, shot by real people with real rifles. Five steps, about ten minutes of your time on top of the shooting. Any distance, any rifle: nine shots is useful, twenty-five is better.

Print it at actual size
Letter or A4 paper, Actual size or 100 percent. Never Fit to page. Then measure between the centres of the first and last bull in the top row.
It must be 152.0 mm, or 5.98 in

Fill in the block
At least the date, the distance and the cartridge. Write only inside the block: pen marks anywhere else can be mistaken for bullet holes.

Mount it flat and shoot it
Staple or tape it flat onto cardboard at the four corners. One shot per bull, in number order. A pulled shot or a wrong bull goes in the Notes box.

Photograph it before you take it down
Four photographs on your phone's main camera at 1x: not the wide lens, not zoomed, no flash, your shadow off the sheet. A target still hanging where it was shot is the material the project most needs.

Send it
Upload the photographs, and a 600 dpi scan if you have a flatbed scanner. Do not crop them or send them through a messaging app, which shrinks them.
