GroupLab is a test build that changes whenever the code does. A report with the build it came from is the most useful thing you can send.

A post in the bug-reports forum becomes a bug report for the developer, and the pictures you post there go on that report and nowhere else. For anything private, the support address below is better.
Reports you send are counted in the release notes: what your reports and targets changed.

Some things are known to be missing or unproven. The testing guide lists them in one short section.
What is not done yetSend a report from GroupLab#
In GroupLab, open the settings from the gear at the bottom left and choose Report a problem in Settings, Help and problems, or Make a report on an error's banner. A window lists what the report holds; write what happened and press Send: it goes to the project with the error and the logs, through the same route as the automatic error reports, with no location data and no photographs. Save only writes it as a zip instead.
If it cannot be sent#
Where sending is not open yet or a send fails, the window says so. Then open an issue on GitHub, attach the saved zip, and add a line about what you were doing, with the build line from Settings, Updates and about, under This build.

On a phone#
On Android, iPhone and iPad, open Settings, then Help and problems: Send to GroupLab sends the newest logs and any crash record straight to the project, with a note if you write one, and gives you a reference; Send diagnostics puts the newest logs and crash records in one zip and hands it to the share sheet, so you can attach it to an issue or an email. On the iPhone and iPad beta, Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight, or a screenshot shared to it, reaches the project too.
If a new build will not start#
On Windows, nothing of yours is at risk: settings, sessions, your own sheets and the log live in %APPDATA%\GroupLab, which no installer or uninstaller touches. To go back, download the build you were on from the releases list and install it over the broken one.
Delete your data#
GroupLab has no accounts, so nothing is kept against a name or a login. What the project can hold is only what you chose to send: targets you sent (the picture and what GroupLab worked out about it), error reports with their logs, and hardware survey reports, which are counted into totals and deleted, keyed by a random number GroupLab made for your installation.
To have what you sent deleted, email [email protected] with the date and the build of what was sent (the build line is in Settings, Updates and about, under This build), so it can be found. Survey reports need no email: Settings, Sharing and privacy, has Delete my survey reports. What GroupLab sends lists everything that can leave your computer or phone.
